Womens Month has been particularly challenging when it comes to the 23 interviews that have been conducted for this special edition.
One cannot but mention the sublime guest which Rachel Kolisi, wife of our great Springbok Captain, turned out to be as we spoke about their “Kolisi Foundation” and the wonderful work being done there.
For me the podcast conducted with Jenny Elinas from Cypriot Realty turned out to be a massive wake-up-call on the possibilities of what she refers to as Plan B. The importance of this interview was not that she highlighted the opportunity, via investment in property to obtain a European Passport. Or the fact that Cyprus is a Tax Haven within which to register a business. But simply put when she contrasted the ease of establishing and doing business into Europe from Cyprus, and the fact that 75% of setup costs spent on Capital Equipment is refunded by the Cypriot Government, that got me thinking. I asked her to compare the value of property in Cape Town versus Cyprus and….well you have to listen for yourself!
I loved the interview with Renee De Waal from Xperiencemakers because of the clarity of purpose she overflows with, and the fact that she schooled me in distinguishing between what Interior Decorators do for a living and how they do it, versus what an Interior Designer does. The latter being truly Professional, and the former, truly Inspired.
Perhaps the most refreshing of all of the Podcasts however, was my interview with the young, all-woman, absolutely overpowering owners of Huis Bru. I was blown away by how reasonable and essential their services were and in-particular how diverse and innovative as well. I was especially intrigued with how much they charge for a Decluttering.
Overall a great library of interviews this month, Women’s Month. I hope you will enjoy listening to them as much I I enjoyed collaborating in creating them.
